Promotions are an ideal marketing tool that can be used to advertise one off features such as Excess Stock, Event Tickets, Specials and Special Events just to name a few. Promotions are sent out as an SMS to the Patrons mobile phone and can be filtered by age, postcode or gender to ensure the right promotion is targeted to the right Patron.
An Instant reward is presented to a Patron when they enter their mobile phone number into the kiosk followed by their pin. The Patron will then have a reward waiting for them such as an entry to the member’s monthly draw, a free beverage, raffle tickets etc. which the Patron can then instantly claim.
Loyalty rewards give something back to Patrons for being loyal to the Venue and spending more time at your location. When they sign in they have the option to “opt in” for the period of time they plan to stay at the venue. During this “opt in period” Patrons have a chance to win loyalty prizes which are sent as a SMS directly to their mobile phone. Patrons then simply return to the kiosk and enter their mobile phone number and pin to redeem their prize.

Anniversary rewards can be automatically sent to a Patron’s mobile phone and/or email address on a special event, for example the Patrons birthday, wishing them a happy birthday and sending them a pre-configured reward designed to encourage them to return to the venue to redeem their Birthday Reward. At mere cents per SMS and/or email this method of contacting Patrons is much more cost effective than printing vouchers and sending them via surface mail.
When a patron has not been to the venue for a predefined period of time (configurable by the venue) an SMS and/or email can be sent to the Patron’s mobile phone or email address with a reward encouraging them to return to the venue. Encouragement rewards can be redeemed at the Kiosk when the Patron next returns to the venue.
Run your own Footy Tipping Competition for both the NRL and/or the AFL. Patrons can enter their own weekly tips, via the kiosk, receive updates on their successes each week, and their position on the competition ladder. Patrons are encouraged to come to your venue on a weekly basis, during the footy season, to enter their tips.
Organising staff and patrons into SMS and/or email address groups makes contacting people easy. For example, if there is a vacant bar shift that needs to be filled, simply send out a group message to the Bar Staff group notifying them of the vacancy and wait for a reply. If there is a special event on for the Fishing Club, simply send a SMS and/or email just to the Fishing Club Group.
Each Venue has the ability to configure their own “Quiet Times”. During these periods no SMS and/or email messages are sent out to any Patrons from your Venue.
All of the rewards listed above are totally configurable by the Venue. You decide when, how many and what is sent to your Patrons via SMS as a reward.
You can use user selectable categories to send SMS and/or emails to users based on their preferences. Allow your patrons to select the type of SMS's and/or emails they want to receive.
Hot Frog allow you to do instant membership draws directly from the kiosk, simply swipe your admin card, select the draw type you want, and press the “Draw now” button. A member will be selected and an instant prize certificate will be printed with that members details on it.
